Role & Responsibilities :
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems to identify issues.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to restore equipment functionality.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new mechanical equipment and systems.
- Assemble and disassemble machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Lubricate, clean, and adjust equipment components as part of preventive maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replaced.
- Collaborate with engineers, other technicians, and relevant departments to solve complex problems.
- Assist in training new technicians or team members in equipment maintenance and procedures.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance the team’s overall skills.
- Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and production losses.
- Conduct testing and quality checks after repairs to verify proper functioning.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
