Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for DEVELOPMENT and implementation of human resource management structures, processes and systems as well as providing administrative support to the Heads of the functionaldepartments. (Current systems and processes do not meet required standards and requires the jobholder to lead an extensive overhaul to align with expectations for efficient operations. Job Description / Requirements
Responsibilities :
Develop, interpret and take full responsibilities of the implementation of HR & administrative processes, policies and procedures.Coordinate the provision of the Group’s human resource requirements through organizational development, recruitment, manpower planning, training and development in line with human resource plans. (For both Ghanaians & Expat staffs).Plan and conduct new staff member orientation / induction. (For both Ghanaian & Expat staff).Provide guidance and support on people initiatives, and ensure the Group’s compliance with local labor laws.Address all HR issues pertaining to welfare and grievances.Provide guidance and support to management on staff disciplinary matters and ensure compliance with disciplinary policy.Develop Performance Management System (PMS) and methods and operate performance appraisal to gauge KPIs.Ensure managers and team leaders are being compliant with their job responsibilities and roles and are performing as per newly implemented PMS and KPI standards by HRM.Analyze and provide HR and Administration performance reports to Management for decision-making.Oversee the development, implementation and administration of remuneration and reward policies and practices that ensure market competitiveness, and balance employee satisfaction and well-being with the company’s financial resources.Plan and coordinate employee events i.e. year-end events and all other events as directed by Management.Plan and proctor departmental review meetings with Heads of departments.Establishment of process to ensure regular reporting by departmental heads to top management.Oversee the establishment and maintenance of administrative functions that ensure smooth daily operations across the company.Drive the execution of HR programs and initiatives across group. Candidate shall be involved in extensive on the ground duties.Requirements :
A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or a related field.Minimum of 5 years work experience in management level with at least 2 years in a direct supervisory position.Membership of a relevant professional body (CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP and other relevant professional qualifications).Location : ( Greater Accra)
