What are we looking for?

We are seeking to hire a strategic and research-oriented professional to lead innovation, improve product-market fit, and support business growth. As a key cross-functional role, the Analyst will bridge agronomic research with market intelligence, ensuring Solevo continues to deliver high-impact, sustainable solutions to farmers in an evolving agricultural environment.

The candidate will be part of our Agro Team and should be knowledgeable about market trends and consumer preferences, be able to analyze large sets of data, and have strong communication skills to present information clearly and effectively.

The key responsibilities :

If you possess…

Product Research & Development

Identify new technologies and input solutions aligned with agronomic needs.
Support field trials and product adaptation in collaboration with agronomists, researchers, and farmers.
Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to product registration and compliance.

Market & Business Intelligence

Analyze trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies in fertilizer, seed, and crop protection markets.

Prepare insightful reports on pricing, positioning, and market entry.

Collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate product performance and drive training or repositioning efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Support

Engage with farmers, agro-dealers, cooperatives, and institutions to gather feedback and co-develop solutions.

Represent Solevo at industry events and technical meetings.

Translate technical knowledge into marketing tools and extension materials.

Support initiatives aligned with sustainability and inclusive agriculture.

Must-Have :

At least 5+ years of experience in Agri-input R&D or market analysis.

Solid understanding of fertilizers, seeds and CPP.

Business analysis : Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes, identify improvement areas, and analyse user requirements.

Requirements gathering and management : Expertise in eliciting detailed requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Excellent communication skills in English & or French is a plus for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture / Agribusiness or a related field.

Nice-to-Have :

Technical background : Ability to write reports using Excel, Power BI and any other related suit.

Certifications in agronomy or research & development methodologies. (IBM Data Analyst, Market Research certification etc)

Data Analytics : Proficiency in GIS, statistics tools.

Knowledge of and Ghanaian regulations.

Worked with government, NGOs, or value chain projects
