Appolonia, a partnership between Rendeavour, Africa’s leading urban land developer and local communities, is a fully master-planned, mixed-use and mixed-income urban development in the Greater Accra Metropolitan. Appolonia aims to strengthen its core team by hiring a talented, experienced Talent Coordinator.
The Talent Coordinator will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support the seamless execution of talent acquisition activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating recruitment processes, maintaining candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive hiring experience that aligns with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting key required skills within the agreed SLA, in alignment with approved workforce plans.
- Act as a talent support partner by providing hiring managers with insights on external talent markets.
- Coordinate intake meetings with hiring managers to confirm role requirements and ensure clarity in the sourcing strategy.
- Maintain and organize a robust pipeline of candidates, fostering long-term relationships while promoting the organization’s mission and brand.
- Support talent acquisition-related initiatives such as employer branding, career fairs, talent forums, and events that enhance employer visibility and attract top talent.
- Ensure consistency in employer branding across all recruitment touchpoints, enhancing the candidate experience and organizational reputation.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, collaborating with teams to embed inclusive hiring practices.
- Assist in improving candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the interview process, ensuring efficiency and engagement.
- Regularly review internal talent pools to identify potential candidates for vacancies before engaging in external hiring.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance within the recruitment system, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate relationships with external recruitment partners, institutions, and vendors to streamline hiring efforts.
- Prepare reports on recruitment metrics, including hiring progress, talent pipeline updates, and key performance indicators.
- Provide administrative support and handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or HR operations.Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases to manage candidate pipelines effectively.Strong ability to collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and external vendors to ensure a seamless hiring process.Experience in streamlining recruitment workflows and improving candidate and hiring manager experience.Ability to coordinate interviews, facilitate selection processes, and provide guidance on hiring decisions.Familiarity with employment laws, data protection regulations, and best hiring practices.
