Job Summary

As the Family Physician or Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our medical clinic while delivering comprehensive medical care to patients through our telemedicine platform. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional healthcare services, managing a team of medical professionals, and contributing to the continuous growth and success of our organization.

Job Description / Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the medical clinic and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high- quality standards of patient care.

Provide primary medical care and comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Report to senior management and ultimately the CEO, while taking advice from the Medical Council

Utilize our telemedicine platform to provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to patients remotely.

Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, research, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.

Foster a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive care.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior medical staff, promoting professional growth and development.

Ensure compliance with relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications :

Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid MDC Ghana license

MGCPS and / or MWACP in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Proven experience working as an Internal Medicine Specialist or Family Physician Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity.

Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine platforms for virtual consultations.

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills to provide comprehensive patient care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and team members.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Understanding of local healthcare practices and cultural sensitivities.
