A hotel-apartment is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to manage the affairs of the Accounts department.

Job Description / Requirements
Responsibilities :
Manage monthly payroll while applying all statutory deductionsPrepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activitiesPrepare financial statements and debtors’ listingVerify recorded transactions and report irregularities to managementProviding directions to night audit team so as to ensure proper revenue reportingReviewing all ledger details to validate proper payment and revenue postingCoordinate with PMS team to resolve any imbalance found in ledgerReview the postings, payments, revenue and guest balance reports dailyEnsure correct taxation are applied on all billing softwareEnsure that all statutory details are displayed on guests invoices and billsIssue invoices / bills to clients and follow up on initial billing if payments has not been receivedEnter invoices into accounts payable system weekly after verifying a purchase order was received fromForecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flowEnsure that cash flows are adequate to allow business to operate effectivelyMaintain banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for business unitsMaintain files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as requiredPerforming numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusion and / or solutionApproving all travel agents commissions and releasing payments after verificationPreparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entitiesMonitor and contain all property inventories to ensure proper levels without causing burdens on property cashPreparing and presenting financial reports for meetings and investorsWorking with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performanceProviding direction and training to hotel operational team operational team in areas related to financial reports, internal controls , payroll, etcEffectively manage the accounting team through respectful communication, clear expectations, relevant meetings and appropriate performance managementRecommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over the departments’ activitiesCrosschecking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary.Processing refundsFollow up with vendors for accounts payable, keep in touch as needed for collections, and ensure bills are paid on time.Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closingsWorking with collection agencies on overdue payments from clients on the Group.Banking all cash and cheques.Any other duties assignedRequirements :
Must be 30 years and above.Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or AccountingChartered Accountant5 years’ experience with at least 2 years in similar roleExperience in Hospitality is an advantageMode of Application :
