PremedGo is a very early stage (Pre-seed) health technology platform that aims to encourage employers to support their employees’ health. We are a preventative healthcare marketplace technology. PremedGo is a user-friendly app designed to make booking healthcare services quick and easy. We are presently operational in the United Kingdom, serving areas in London and Bucks, and we are soon embarking on a pilot phase in the United States, specifically in Los Angeles.

Job Purpose :

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Ghana. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and capitalising on new business opportunities to drive the growth of our company. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record of achieving business targets.

Main Objectives :

Your core duties will include, but are not limited to :

1. Identify and Evaluate Opportunities :

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, and products / services.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the potential of each opportunity.
  • 2. Develop Strategic Plans :

  • Develop comprehensive strategies to successfully pursue new business opportunities.
  • Align strategies with the company's goals and vision for growth.
  • 3. Build Client Relationships :

  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, understanding their needs and proposing solutions to address those needs.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to ensure their continued satisfaction.
  • 4. Sales Pitch and Presentation :

  • Present sales pitches and showcase our products to new and existing clients.
  • Tailor pitches to effectively communicate the value propositions and benefits of our offerings.
  • 5. Industry Engagement :

  • Attend conferences, seminars, and events to establish and nurture relationships with industry partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • 6. Sales Forecasting and Achievement :

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Continuously monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • 7. Product and Competition Knowledge :

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Position our offerings effectively against competitors in the market.
  • 8. Team Management and Training :

  • Lead and mentor a business development team to ensure their success in achieving targets.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to maximise team performance.
  • 9. Collaboration and Branding :

  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure branding and marketing requirements are met.
  • Work together to deliver cohesive and compelling messages to clients.

  • Essential skills and qualifications :
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) or clinician (doctor or nurse with management experience).
  • Experience

  • At least 3-year experience in relevant field
  • Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Knowledge of the industry's trends, emerging markets, and competition.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
