Job Summary

Fortune Synergy Limited, operators of Mega Fortune 6 / 96 Lottery game is looking for a dynamic General Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day business activities, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals with the aim of accomplishing the Organization’s mission and vision.

Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Formulate, implement, and monitor effective business growth strategies and programs.
  • Identify business growth opportunities that align with the strategy of the company.
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of the business.
  • Review lottery procedures, ensure that relevant lottery rules and regulations are followed  and strive to improve the profitability of the business.
  • Commission market research
  • Develop and implement incentive programs to maximize retailer sales potential.
  • Provide an outstanding level of customer care to ensure that relationships with lottery  players are maintained and developed.
  • Ensure fair conduct of lottery draws and reconciliation of lottery accounts are carried out  efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure the development of a marketing strategy for lottery games and produce monthly  progress reports on sales and expenditure for the Board of Directors.
  • Optimize the use of the lottery database and ensure that accurate records are kept of all  lottery transactions.
  • Attend external meetings as required to build up relationships with industry players.
  • Ensure resolution of problems between retail agents and the business.
  • Ensure timely execution of sales plans and incentive programs.
  • To be responsible for the accurate processing of all new applications for Retail / Agent  membership by the admin team and investigate non-payment where necessary.
  • To oversee the day-to-day work of the administrative team to ensure that all tasks are  carried out accurately and in a timely fashion; ensuring that each team member is given  a fair and equal workload and has a clear understanding of how and when tasks need  to be completed.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all email, post and telephone enquiries are dealt with  swiftly on a daily and ad hoc basis.
  • Monitor financial and performance targets of the Company.
  • To assist the Finance Head with the end of year financial reconciliation of Lottery  accounts.
  • Be proactive in identifying risk which may impact the business or hinder the Organization  from achieving business goals.
  • Manage annual budget and forecast exercises.
  • Ensure performance reviews are done regularly.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to you as directed by C.E.O
  • Requirements

  • Formal tertiary qualification
  • Proven work experience as a General Manager of a Reputable Organization.
  • Organization understanding
  • Lottery industry knowledge / understanding is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in Public Relations
  • Market & Customer Knowledge
  • Project and System implementation experience
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and great communication skills.
