A reputable general insurance company is seeking to recruit results-oriented persons for the following position : Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Achieves Branch GWP, renewal and new business target / objectives for the branch
- Identifies, grows, develops, manager and retains potential and existing agents
- Identifies, grows, develops, manages and retains potential and existing clients
- Develops marketing strategies and plans to support the achievement of set targets, including prospects for new business, expand market opportunities and increase the market share
- Analyses distribution channels on consistent basis and develops strategies for achieving sales targets
- Identifies new business and product opportunities using relevant research tools / sector specific targeting / cold calling, etc strategies
- Builds excellent business relations with existing clients by visiting them and providing the needed services to them at least once every quarter particular those contributing significantly to premium income targets
- Manages the company’s reputable in the day-to-day activities to promote a good corporate image of the brand
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and ensures good customer service
- Submits weekly and monthly reports covering all production / marketing activities
- Compiles fully with all NIC directives in the pursuance of the insurance business
- Carries out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.Professional qualification in insurance (At least Diploma or equivalent)Must have at least 6 years of experience from the insurance industry, preferably general insurance, with at least 3 years in a similar positionProven success in sales and demonstrable knowledge of the sales processConfident negotiator and ability to close the dealStrong client management skillsCapable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutionsStrong skills in researching and analyzing new business opportunitiesAbility to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasksStrong Communication skills (written, oral and presentation)Location : Accra
