Job Description / Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
Provide primary medical care and comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages.Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.Utilize our telemedicine platform to provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to patients remotely.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, research, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.Foster a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive care.Report to Senior Medical Management and OwnershipConduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.Diagnose medical conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans based on patient presentations, medical histories, and diagnostic test results.Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions following evidence-based guidelines.Perform medical procedures such as wound dressings, suturing, minor surgeries, and injections as needed.Interpret medical tests and imaging results to make accurate diagnoses.Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnosis, treatment plans, and medical information in an understandable manner.Address patients' concerns, questions, and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.Establish strong doctor-patient relationships to foster trust and compliance with treatment regimens.Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless delivery of services.Provide consultations and medical opinions to referring physicians and specialists.Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical care to stabilize patients.Make rapid decisions under pressure to ensure patient safety and well-being.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for medical record-keeping.Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management strategies.Participate in health education initiatives and community outreach programs to raise health awareness.Stay current with medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuous medical education.Attend medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance medical knowledge and skills.Complete required administrative tasks, such as updating patient charts, writing medical reports, and filling out insurance forms.Assist in developing and implementing medical policies, protocols, and procedures.Qualifications :
MBChB from an accredited institutionCompleted horsemanship in GhanaPermanent license from the Medical and Dental Council (MDC), GhanaStrong clinical acumen and up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and advancements.Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex medical information clearly.Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.Sound decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.Attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Adherence to ethical principles and professional standards of conduct.Team player and ability to execute directives.Salary :
