Job description

The CASE Business Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan for

the paints and coatings business in the construction industry. This position involves working with

cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share by identifying new business

opportunities, developing product and pricing strategies, and managing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the paints and coatings business in the

construction industry, in alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth and increase
  • market share.

  • Develop and implement product and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and meet
  • customer needs.

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to develop and launch new products and
  • technologies that meet customer needs and address market gaps.

  • Manage customer relationships, including regular communication with key customers to
  • understand their needs, develop solutions, and maintain strong relationships.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to monitor competitor activities, identify new opportunities,
  • and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting sales targets, developing
  • sales strategies, and monitoring performance against targets.

  • Develop and manage the budget for the paints and coatings business, including forecasting
  • sales, expenses, and profitability.

  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote products and technologies and stay
  • up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

    Requirements

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or
  • related field. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paints and coatings industry, with a focus on the
  • construction market segment.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan that
  • aligns with company goals and objectives.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify
  • opportunities, and develop solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong
  • relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
  • simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
