Job Purpose :
- Business growth of the Bank in line with the strategy of the Bank and the Group.
- Digital transformation of business and processes to enhance customer satisfaction, new product development and operational efficiencies
- Business growth sustainability in line with stakeholder expectations on key parameters such as return on capital, market share, asset quality, staff productivity.
- Marketing and corporate communication of brand and products

Targets as set out in the balanced score card for the Banks tri-annual development plan (TDP)
Financial
To attain desired ROE of the BankTo grow the loan book to be at 1.5x GDP growth rate and aboveTo grow customer deposits at 1.25 x the loans growth rate.To reduce cost of funding on customer depositsTo grow non-interest income especially on trade finance productsTo ensure high quality credit portfolio within acceptable risk parametersTo grow the SME business sector in line with the Bank’s TDPCustomer
To grow the Bank’s clientele base in line with business plansTo optimize account usage through products and systemsTo increase the equipment rate of clients to be within the Group requirement of 3 products per clientTo ensure excellent customer experience journeyProcesses

Bachelor degree in relevant field preferably with a Master’s degreeProfessional qualification in any one of the following fields : Finance, Accounting, ICT, HR, Marketing, legal.At least 10 years in a senior management role in Banking SectorExperience in business development in retail and SME banking, Corporate banking, transactional Banking, trade finance, and institutional bankingExperience in capital adequacy management, business case reviews, business budget formulation and management.Knowledge on distressed assets management and remedial managementMarketing and product development experienceExperience in use of digital platforms for financial service provision and developmentStake holder management experience, including Board presentations, strategy communication to staff and clients, regulatory managementKey attributes for the role
