Join our team as a Service Contract Lead for Anglophone, West Africa, and play a crucial role in maximizing component life, upholding safety, and driving business growth.

Your Impact

Lead the management of surface and underground mining customer relationships, focusing on equipment availability and reliability. You'll implement efficient planning and systems management to extend component life through condition monitoring and industry best practices. A strong commitment to safety and environmental culture is paramount, along with developing the business through Rig-Scan assessments in the region.

  • Key Contribution

Develop and maintain customer-focused technical support to ensure high satisfaction.

  • Cultivate a broad and robust customer base.
  • Drive technical competence and machine performance by delivering value-added services.
  • Contribute to parts and service business development through Rig-Scan assessments.
  • Implement safety campaigns, service news, and product upgrades.
  • Provide / 7 product support for surface and underground equipment.
  • Coordinate with product companies on improvements and technical service bulletins.
  • Collaborate with the Training Lead to develop internal and external training.
  • Support the Sales Team in underground business tendering.
  • Skills and Experience You Bring
  • Extensive experience in underground mining equipment maintenance and operations (electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, electronics, and RCS).

  • Trade-qualified in mechanicals with expertise in electrical fault finding and maintenance.
  • Mandatory experience with RCS systems, automation, and technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Epiroc products for underground, surface mining, and geological drilling.
  • Proficiency in Epiroc business practices / systems and online tools.
  • Analytical prowess to interpret maintenance data, identify trends, and evaluate machine reliability.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis (applied failure analysis) and oil sampling techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical, probability methods, and engineering concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills (French and English).
  • Solid ability to plan and organize service technician crews safely.
