Job Summary

A reputable school in Kwabenya, is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to provide secretarial services and teach students typing skills. As our Secretarial Services and Typing Teacher, you will be responsible for two key areas : supporting our administrative staff and teaching typing skills to our students.

  • Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Provide secretarial support services to our administrative staff, including but not limited to answering phones, typing correspondence, filing, and scheduling appointments.
  • Teach typing skills to students, including proper typing techniques, speed, and accuracy.
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and secretarial services.
  • Requirements :

  • Post secondary professional training in secretarial services from an accredited institution .
  • Proven experience providing secretarial support services in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
  • Strong knowledge of typing techniques, including proper hand placement, posture, and finger movements.
  • Experience teaching typing skills to students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
