Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of paint products, surfaces, applications, and project sales cycles. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred for field mobility). Basic knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting tools.
Job Purpose :
To drive external sales and grow business beyond the store premises by acquiring new customers, managing contractor relationships, engaging dealers, and expanding institutional or project-based paint sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Identify and develop new B2B customers such as contractors, builders, architects, and institutions.
- Conduct regular field visits to project sites, construction areas, and client offices to promote paint products.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales, focusing on wholesale and project-based opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, painters, and applicators.
- Conduct product demos, color consultations, and technical presentations for clients and influencers.
- Coordinate with the store team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries for off-site orders.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
- Organize promotional campaigns, painter meets, and field marketing initiatives.
