Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field; Diploma in Sales or Marketing is a plus.3+ years of experience in field sales, preferably in the paints or construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of paint products, surfaces, applications, and project sales cycles. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred for field mobility). Basic knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting tools.

Job Purpose :

To drive external sales and grow business beyond the store premises by acquiring new customers, managing contractor relationships, engaging dealers, and expanding institutional or project-based paint sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Identify and develop new B2B customers such as contractors, builders, architects, and institutions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to project sites, construction areas, and client offices to promote paint products.
  • Generate leads and convert them into sales, focusing on wholesale and project-based opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, painters, and applicators.
  • Conduct product demos, color consultations, and technical presentations for clients and influencers.
  • Coordinate with the store team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries for off-site orders.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Organize promotional campaigns, painter meets, and field marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills :
