Job description
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales in the Telecoms industry
  • Professional membership of a relevant professional body is a plus.

    JOB PURPOSE :

    The successful applicant shall be responsible for safeguarding and growing revenue for the Organization through acquisition and retention of business. He / She shall keep customers updated on business development The role reports to the Sales Manager.

    ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS :

    • Evaluates business opportunities.
    • Monitors and evaluates marketing plans.
    • Identifies, contacts and establishes new business through effective approaches.
    • Develops marketing presentations and generates business specific service level agreements
    • Maintains effective working relationships with internal suppliers such as the Sales Engineer and customers.
    • Provides account data to the Sales Manager for developing a sales plan and monitoring its implementation.
    • Uses relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
    • Provides sales performance data to support management decision-making.

    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
    • Possess a high degree of initiative, drive, confidence, and ability to enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
