Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role. Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to manage a team and efficiently run an office. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Development (60%)

Lead Generation & Outreach :

Identify and approach potential clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.

Initiate discussions with decision-makers to assess needs and propose tailored solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement :
  • Arrange and attend meetings with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

    Represent the company professionally, fostering trust and long-term relationships.

  • Strategy & Growth :
  • Develop and implement Business Development plans to achieve revenue targets.

    Research market trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas.

  • Reporting & Collaboration :
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and client interactions in HubSpot (CRM).

    Collaborate with the UK and Ghana teams to align efforts with company objectives.

    Office Management (40%)

  • Administrative Oversight :
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier agreements (e.g., internet, utilities).

    Organise meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and minute-taking

  • Financial Coordination :
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping, expense tracking, and invoice processing.

    Liaise with the UK finance team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Internal Support :
  • Act as the primary point of contact for office-related matters.

    Coordinate travel arrangements and local events for staff and visitors.

  • Compliance & HR Support :
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations (tax filings, permits, etc.).

    Assist with onboarding new hires and maintaining personnel records.

    Requirements :

  • Experience :
  • 3+ years in Business Development or sales (marketing, technology, or agency background preferred).

    1+ year in office management, operations, or administration.

    Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage office workflows efficiently.

  • Skills :
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.

    Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

    Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and basic financial processes.

  • Personal Attributes :
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

    Proactive problem-solver with a service-oriented approach.

    Professional demeanour and cultural sensitivity.
