POSITION : Site Engineer
REPORTING TO : Deputy Director, Physical Development Planning and Transport Division Directorate, PDMSD
JOB ROLE
- The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction and infrastructure projects within the University of Ghana, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and timely completion of projects.
- The role requires technical expertise in construction management, site management, and quality control.

The applicant must have :
A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field in the built environment.Professional certification in Construction Technology Management (IET-GH or GHIE).Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering, construction supervision, andExperience in overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in an academic or institutional setting.A Master’s Degree in Construction Technology Management would be an added advantage.Required abilities and skills :
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, material testing, and quality assurance.Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Revit.Ability to interpret drawings and resolve on-site challenges effectively.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.High-level of integrity and commitment to professional ethics.Applicants must have served a minimum of two years in a Senior Staff role at the University of Ghana, and must be able to serve a minimum of 4 years in the role before reaching the mandatory retirement age of years.Location : Accra
