EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education or any related field.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in administration, preferably in an academic or hospitality setting.
  • Background in culinary education or hospitality is an advantage REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic record-keeping tools.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a passion for culinary arts and education.
  • Excellent customer service skills to build relationships with students, other organisations and colleagues.
  • High level of literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to work unsupervised

Our client, a premier culinary institution, is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and responsive individual for the position of Administrator to assist with the operations of the company.

ROLE PROFILE

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, ensuring smooth coordination between students, chefs, management and facility operations. He / she will also undertake the following tasks :

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily school operations, including student registrations, class schedules, and chef instructor timetables.
  • Act as the primary liaison between students, instructors, and management for all administrative concerns.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and course progress reports.
  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance of the school premises.
  • Support the chefs with class setup, inventory requests, and logistics for practical sessions.
  • Handle communication with prospective students, responding to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Oversee procurement of supplies, equipment, and ingredients in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly administrative reports for management.
  • Support the planning and coordination of school events, exams, and special sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and hospitality standards
