Job descriptionPhotography & Videography Technical Skills Proficiency in cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, etc.) and lenses. - Understanding of composition, lighting, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop). 2. Creativity and Vision Ability to capture compelling images that tell a story or convey a message. - Strong sense of composition, color, and lighting. 3. Attention to Detail Precision in capturing and editing images. - Ability to work with different subjects (portraits, landscapes, products, etc.). Videography Qualifications : 1. Technical Skills Proficiency in video cameras, stabilizers (gimbals), and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). - Understanding of audio equipment (microphones, mixers) and lighting setups. 2. Storytelling Ability Ability to create engaging narratives through video. - Understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual effects. 3. Adaptability Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, fast-paced events). - Flexibility in adjusting to changing conditions (light, sound, etc.). Common Skills for Both : 1. Creativity Ability to bring a unique perspective to projects. - Strong visual storytelling skills. 2. Technical Proficiency Familiarity with the latest equipment and software. - Continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends. 3. Communication Ability to collaborate with clients, directors, or other team members. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. Formal Qualifications : 1. Degree or Certification Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Videography, Film, or related fields. - Workshops or certifications in specialized areas (e.g., drone photography, cinematography). 2. Portfolio A strong body of work showcasing your skills and style. - Regularly updated to reflect your growth and versatility. Additional Tips : - Build a professional portfolio to showcase your work. - Network with other professionals in the industry. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in photography and videography.
