About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Driller (or Drilling Supervisor) with a proven background in mineral exploration. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Core (Diamond), Reverse Circulation (RC) , and Multipurpose Drilling , with field-based experience in Ghana and other African regions. This is a residential role based in Tarkwa, requiring strong operational and or supervisory capabilities, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to lead or support small drilling crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot core, RC, and multipurpose drill rigs
• Perform wireline and conventional diamond drilling in hard, fractured, or weathered ground
• Execute RC drilling programs, ensuring sample integrity and recovery
• Conduct pre-start inspections, basic rig maintenance, and field repairs
• Maintain accurate drill logs, shift records, and sampling reports
• Supervise offsiders and support crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations
• Comply with all site-specific and client HSE procedures and standards
• Assist in mobilization / demobilization of drill rigs and support equipment
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety drills
